After the holiday yesterday, I assumed we'd have more mail, but didn't want to get my hopes up that our seeds would come. The boy and I walked...okay RAN to the mailbox and greeted the mailman, who greeted us with a big envelope of NE Seeds!!!!!
Spread out on the counter there doesn't seem to be as much - but these are big thick packs of seeds and the celery is already so potent!!!
I saw a website advertising these cards for free - you only pay shipping.
They are deck of playing cards, true...
But each card has a vegetable/fruit/herb on it. How to grow it how to harvest it and the nutritional benefits of it! I thought they were pretty cool!
Last week we picked up a mini green house to start some seeds in!
There are shelves on each side with trays so we can start our seedlings.
So excited!
Sadly enough, you can see here our chicken brooder is still empty!!!
Yesterday was supposed to be the start of Chick Days at Tractor Supply Co, but because of the holiday Monday and some shipping issues/error we are still chickless. =(
So another day, more waiting, but I'll learn to enjoy the calmness before the rush of starting and taking care of everything becomes crazy!!!
